Solar & Windows
Solar Panel & Window Cleaning in Plain City & Central Ohio
Spot-free, streak-free cleaning for solar panels and windows — clearer glass, better views, and panels that work as hard as they should.
The Service
What our Solar Panel and Window Cleaning includes.
Dust, pollen, bird droppings and hard-water spots don't just look bad — on solar panels they block sunlight and can measurably cut your energy production. We clean panels using a gentle, purified-water method that lifts grime without harsh chemicals or abrasive tools that could scratch the glass or void your warranty.
The same pure-water, spot-free approach gives your windows a crystal-clear, streak-free finish inside and out. Whether it's a full home of windows or a roof array of panels, we get them gleaming — safely and fully insured.
We clean panels and windows right across the region — from Plain City and Jerome to Dublin, Hilliard and Marysville. Wherever you are in Central Ohio, the job is done the same spot-free way.
- Residential rooftop solar panels
- Ground-mount & carport arrays
- Interior & exterior windows
- Screens, sills & tracks wiped
- Hard-water spot & pollen removal
- Purified, spot-free water — no streaks
How It Works
How we clean solar panels and windows in Plain City & Central Ohio.
These two jobs are bundled for a practical reason: they use the same water. Both panels and glass have to dry without leaving mineral spots, and Central Ohio’s hard water guarantees spotting if you use it straight from the tap. Our deionized system strips the calcium and magnesium out, so both surfaces air-dry clear with nothing left behind.
Doing them in one visit also saves a setup. The ladder work, the water tank and the reach poles are the same kit, so combining them costs noticeably less than booking each separately. The order matters — panels first, while the roof-level water is running, then windows on the way down, so nothing already cleaned gets rinsed over.
-
01
Survey both
We count panes and panels, check for cracked glass, failed seals and loose clamps, and give you one price for the visit.
-
02
Panels first
The array is rinsed of loose grit, soft-brushed with deionized water and rinsed pure, working from the top of the roof down.
-
03
Then the glass
Screens out, tracks vacuumed, exterior glass deionized and interiors squeegeed with the edges detailed by hand.
-
04
One final check
Panels and windows are both checked in good light from more than one angle before the kit goes back on the van.
What changes the price of a combined clean
The combined price is built from panel count and pane count, then discounted for the shared setup. Access does the rest — a single-story with a ground-mounted array is the quickest version of this job, a steep two-story the slowest.
- Panels and panes — both counted individually, then priced as one visit
- Roof pitch and height — the same access constraint applies to both jobs
- Condition — hard-water etching on glass or heavy bird fouling on panels adds a pass
- Bundle saving — one setup instead of two is what makes the combined price work

Frequently asked questions.
Does cleaning really improve solar panel output?
Yes. Dirty panels can lose a noticeable percentage of their output, especially after pollen season or a dry spell. Clean panels absorb more sunlight, so regular cleaning often pays for itself in recovered production.
Will you scratch my panels or windows?
No. We use soft brushes and purified water rather than abrasive pads or harsh chemicals, which protects the glass and keeps your panel warranty intact.
How often should panels and windows be cleaned?
For most Central Ohio homes, once or twice a year keeps panels performing and glass clear. Homes near fields, trees or busy roads may benefit from more frequent visits.
Can you do the solar panels and windows on the same visit?
Yes, and most customers do. Both use the same pure-water pole system, so combining them saves a second setup and a second trip. Tell us both when you book and we'll schedule the time for it.
What is pure water cleaning?
Water with the dissolved minerals filtered out. Ordinary tap water leaves those minerals behind as spots when it dries; pure water doesn't, so glass and panels dry clear with no detergent and no squeegee marks. It's why the results look clean rather than streaked.
How long does a combined visit take?
Usually half a day for an average home with a typical array, though it depends on window count and how many panels you have. We'll give you a firm window when we quote rather than leaving you waiting.
Do you clean skylights too?
Yes. Skylights collect grime badly because they sit flat and rarely get rinsed properly by rain. They make an obvious difference inside, and they're easy to add while we're already set up for the roof and upper windows.
Do the panels and the glass need different treatment?
The water is the same but the touch isn't. Panels have an anti-reflective coating that must never meet abrasive pads or harsh chemicals, so they're cleaned with soft equipment and low pressure. Window glass is more forgiving, and frames, tracks and screens get attention too.
